The first overall pick of the NFL Draft and newest Panthers QB Bryce Young joined Kyle Bailey on Friday to discuss his adjustment period to the NFL so far and what type of offense the Panthers will be running.

The first topic Bryce touched on was whether or not things still feel surreal 2 weeks after being drafted as he said that things have slowed down a little bit after the initial hoopla as there is a lot more day-to-day work he is focusing on now.

When it comes to the offense Carolina has Bryce described it as balanced while adapting to take what the defense gives them and also being dynamic.

Kyle then asked Bryce about how his father being a therapist helped his mindset as a player as he has been emphasized since a young age to control his mindset and focus on all the stuff that he can control which helps him stay in the best mindset both on and off the field.

The last topic Bryce touched on was the schedule release as he noted that it was school but he is taking a day-by-day approach right now, and while the Panthers start the season against 2 divisional foes (Falcons & Saints) Bryce noted that he has learned very quickly from the veterans is that every game in the NFL is a huge game.
