Although Dave Grohl played drums on new Foo album, the band announced their new drummer. Josh Freese will join the group full-time for their summer tour.
The Foo Fighters confirmed that Dave Grohl played drums on the band’s new album, their upcoming 11th record. “But Here We Are” is due out on June 2 and will reportedly have 10 tracks. The record was described in a press release as a “brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters endured over the last year.”
The band also revealed last night that drummer Josh Freese will join the group full-time for their summer tour. Fans are surprised that Rufus Taylor wasn’t announced to replace Taylor Hawkins after the feedback following the memorial concert.
