The week kicked off (pun very much intended) with Rihanna rocking a Panthers jersey while traveling in Japan.
On Tuesday, we woke up to the news that our favorite tight end Greg Olsen won the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Personality as an Emerging On-Air Talent.
This is his second full year as an NFL on Fox analyst as he works alongside play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt. The two are Fox’s lead broadcast team.
As if that’s not enough, how about reports emerging about Charlotte as a potential destination for the NFL draft??? WSOC-TV first reported the possibility in early May when NFL officials were here visiting in the shadows with city and county officials.
The draft has taken to moving around to different cities. It was Kansas City where the newest Panther, Bryce Young, was drafted. Could be a boon for the Queen City… More than 312,000 people attend3d the draft in Kansas City with an estimated economic impact of $100,000.00
Speaking of Young, new Coach Frank Reich called his performance a “10 out of 10” at the team’s OTA’s.
But wait, there’s more… Young recently connected with NFL legend Tom Brady and came away with he called a bunch of “gems.”
