Elton John says ending AIDS by 2030 is possible as his charity launches a new initiative. The Elton John Aids Foundation launched a $125 million fund to fight HIV infections in vulnerable communities. S

peaking about the Rocket Fund to Good Morning America (GMA), Sir Elton said: “We still have work to do, but that’s why I’m launching this; we really want to end the AIDS situation by 2030, we think it’s possible (and) it’s doable so we just want to get a move on.”

The fund will support HIV prevention and treatment for 1M+ people, including tests, antiretroviral therapies, and PrEP. Do you think ending AIDS can happen by 2030? What do you think needs to happen to meet the mark?
