Get your tums ready. The Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest is back open to the public this year in Brooklyn (or you can get a stomach ache just watching from home).
Joey Chestnut has won the men’s competition five straight years, and 13 of the past 14 contests. Miki Sudo won the women’s side for the past seven years but is not competing this year because she’s pregnant — which leaves the field wide open.
ESPN will serve up live coverage of both events on July 4th starting at 11 a.m. ET. Last year, Chestnut chowed down 75 hot dogs in 10 minutes; Sudo ate 48.5.
What’s a favorite food you think you could set a record for eating?
