The Logistics Behind The US Airways And American Airlines Merger In Charlotte, NC

Yet another incident of unruly behavior by an airline passenger. Last week, during a flight from Dallas-Fort Worth to Charlotte, a woman needed to be duct taped to her seat to keep her from dangerously opening the forward boarding door. The flight arrived safely, however a flight attendant was injured. Passengers were allowed to exit the plane before she was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

In a statement from American Airlines: “For the safety and security of other customers and our crew, the individual was restrained until the flight landed in CLT and could be met by law enforcement and emergency personnel,” Is the recent unruly behavior a concern when you travel? Could this be a side effect of cramped spaces in airplanes?
