Luke Combs told attendees at the annual Country Radio Seminar that people can change and that he’s “one of those people.”

The conversation between Combs and Maran Morris surrounded the use of the confederate flag in country music.

Social Media pointed to Combs having a confederate flag sticker on a guitar that he once used but Combs says he’s, “grown up as an artist and now realize how painful that image is as the world has changed dramatically over the last five to seven years.”

Combs says, “I don’t want to have anything to do with something that would hurt someone else.”

What is your stance on the Confederate flag? Should it be buried with the past or should it continue to be a symbol in country music?
