Jimmy Kimmel’s Son Has a Successful Surgery

Jimmy Kimmel has revealed that his son Billy has undergone a successful third open heart surgery.  Kimmel’s son was born with a rare congenital heart defect and had his first open surgery at three days old.  “We went into this experience with a lot of optimism and nearly as much fear and came out with a new valve inside a happy, healthy kid,” posted Jimmy in an Instagram post.  Billy’s condition has put Jimmy at the forefront of bringing awareness to the benefits of the Affordable Care Act.
