Actress Shelley Duvall has died. According to Duvall’s longtime partner, Dan Gilroy, the actress died in her sleep from complications of diabetes. Duvall was best known for her work in the 1980 Stanley Kubrick classic “The Shining,” but also starred in Woody Allen’s “Annie Hall” and portrayed Olive Oyl in Robert Altman’s take on “Popeye.” Duvall was also known for her critically-acclaimed series “Shelley Duvall’s Faerie Tale Theatre,” which starred in and produced. Shelley Duvall was 75.
