Nelly is an enigma in the music industry, not only has he been doing music for over 20 years, which is an eternity in the music business, but he’s loved by Hip-Hop, Pop, and Country fans.
His latest EP, Heartland, finds the St. Louis native teaming up with some of the best male performers in country music. Nelly says Heartland is part one of a two-part series, he says, “If you look at this one, there is no female representation on this album.
So, part one was me with the guys, and part two will be with the ladies of country music.” Nelly plans on getting in the studio with the women of country music with a “different kind of energy” to produce the next EP, which he plans to release next year.
