Even though, it’s been strongly encouraged that people do not travel, to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Traveling will be picking up this holiday since the pandemic began in March. Charlotte Douglas International Airport is expected to finally see a spike up this holiday.

According to The Charlotte Observer, Sunday will the busiest traveling day, “with 22,000 passengers starting their travel from Charlotte, CLT,” chief operating officer Jack Christine said. November 24th, 25th, and 28th have been noted as busy days too, saying that 17,000 could be flying out Charlotte Douglas International Airport

As those numbers seem high based on the pandemic but low compared to the average of  33,000 to 38,000 people, that traveled in 2019.
