Police in Florida are calling off their search for the boyfriend of Gabby Petito, the missing 22-year-old whose body was found over the weekend in Wyoming.
Search crews spent the weekend combing the 24,000-acre Carlton Nature Reserve searching for 23-year-old Brian Landrie, who is considered a ‘person of interest’ in Petito’s death.
On Monday, Police said they had “exhausted all avenues” and would not continue a “major search” in the area. It’s not clear if law enforcement are searching for Landrie anywhere else.
Petito disappeared while she and Landrie were on a cross-country trip they were documenting on social media. Petito’s body was found Sunday in northern Wyoming.
