Seth Rogan exhibited what many of us are as we enter back into society as the coronavirus pandemic continues to dictate our daily lives.

While on stage at the Emmys, Seth ranted about the lack of COVID precautions at the event saying, “Let me start by saying there is way too many of us in this little room.”

“What are we doing? They said this was outdoors. It is not. They lied to us. We’re in a hermetically sealed tent right now. I would not have come to this. Why is there a roof? It’s more important that we have three chandeliers than to make sure we don’t kill (Schitt’s Creek star) Eugene Levy tonight. That has been decided,” Rogan continued.

“This is insane,” Rogen quipped. “I went from wiping groceries to having (WandaVision star) Paul Bettany sneeze in my face.” The DJ for the evening, Reggie Watts, chimed in saying the event organizers had followed, “all the health and safety guidelines” before the program cut to commercial.

Many on social media sympathized with Rogan and noted, “No Masks at the #Emmys because rules are for the little people.” Do you think the Emmys should’ve had a virtual ceremony or been held outside like the Espy’s?
