Britney Spears’ conservatorship could end today: Jamie due in court

Britney Spears’ court hearing to terminate her conservatorship has been moved to today (September 29th).

The hearing was originally scheduled for January 28, but a zoom meeting will take place today with Jamie and Lynn Spears present. Britney isn’t expected to attend the hearing. The subject of today’s meeting will be about ending the conservatorship Britney’s been in for the past 13 years.

Although no one will argue that the conservatorship needs to end, it’s unlikely it will, before the judge either orders a mental evaluation or a transition plan for the conservatorship.

According to TMZ, Jamie Spears objects to CPA John Zabel as a temporary conservator of Britney’s estate, however, Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart wants Jamie removed from the conservatorship today and he will fight for it.
