Meghan McCain on Monday called on President Biden to fire Dr. Anthony Fauci, blaming him for “inconsistent messaging” regarding the distribution of Coronavirus vaccines.

“The fact that Dr. Fauci is going on CNN and he can’t tell me if I get the vaccine I’ll be able to have dinner with my family,” McCain said during a taping of  “The View” on Monday. ”It’s terribly inconsistent messaging.”

The daughter of former U.S. Senator and presidential candidate, John McCain, made reference to Israel, which has reportedly given the first dose of the vaccine to about half the country’s population.

“I think we need to have more people giving more opinions, and honestly, quite frankly, I think the Biden administration should remove him and put someone else in place that maybe does understand science or can talk to other countries about how we can be more like these places who are doing this successfully,” she said.

It’s important to note, the U.S. population is 42 times more than Israel’s 9.5 million people. About 19.4 million people in the country have been fully vaccinated, roughly 5% of the population.

“The fact that I, Meghan McCain, co-host of ‘The View,’ don’t know when or how I will be able to get a vaccine because the rollout for my age range and my health is so nebulous, I have no idea when and how I get it,” she added

McCain’s comments come a day prior to the CDC expected to announce new guidelines for people fully vaccinated. Something that Dr. Fauci has supported for weeks and reemphasized on CNN Tuesday.

“If I’m fully vaccinated, and my daughter comes in the house and she’s fully vaccinated, do we really need to have the stringent public health measure that we would if it was a stranger who was not vaccinated?”
