The Coca-Cola Company has introduced a new flavor of Sprite called Sprite + Tea in the U.S. and Canada, combining the Sprite formula with the flavor of tea.

The idea for Sprite + Tea originated from a social media trend where Sprite drinkers would add tea to their sodas, prompting the company to create its own version of the combination.

Sprite + Tea is available in original and Zero Sugar varieties and is caffeine-free, with similar sugar and calorie content to regular Sprite.

Reviewers on TikTok who tried Sprite + Tea compared it to an Arnold Palmer or Brisk iced tea.

Sprite’s introduction of the new flavor comes after it surpassed Pepsi to become the third-most popular soda brand, following Coca-Cola and Dr. Pepper, according to Beverage Digest.
