Alec Baldwin could face criminal charges in the accidental prop gun shooting that left a cinematographer dead and a director injured.

That’s the word from New Mexico District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies, who says authorities “haven’t ruled out anything” in the case. “Everything at this point, including criminal charges, is on the table,” Carmack-Altwies says.

The incident occurred last Thursday on the set of “Rust,” a western that Baldwin is producing and appears in. After the actor fired a gun he thought was unloaded, a projectile struck and killed Halyna Hutchins and injured Joel Souza.

Although the gun has been described as a prop, Carmack-Altwies says, “It was a legit gun. It was an antique, era-appropriate gun.”

What could Baldwin be charged with? Isn’t the guy who told him the gun wasn’t loaded at fault?
