Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is facing charges related with groping an aide.
Although the charge — filed Thursday in Albany City Court — is a misdemeanor, Cuomo would have to register as a sex offender if he’s convicted, according to State Courts spokesman Lucian Shalfen.
According to paperwork filed with the court, the incident occurred in the Governor’s Mansion on December 7th when the 63-year-old Cuomo “did intentionally, and for no legitimate purpose, forcibly place his hand under the blouse shirt of the victim … and onto her intimate body part.” So far, there’s been no reaction from Cuomo.
Will Cuomo get away with this, or will the court try to make an example out of him?
