It feels like things are slowly getting back to normal and we’re starting to see several big events taking place that didn’t last year.

One of those events is the Times Square New Years Eve celebration, which was only open to the front-line workers last year.

If you want to ring in 2022 in Times Square, you will need to be vaccinated. For people who can’t get the vaccine due to medical reasons, they will have to provide a negative COVID test and wear a mask.

During a briefing today (Tuesday), NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio said, “We want to welcome all those hundred of thousands of folks, but everyone needs to be vaccinated. New York City is back. We want to show the world we’re back”.

What are your thoughts on reopening Times Square for New Year’s Eve? Have you attended a large event/gathering since the pandemic? Would you feel comfortable attending the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration?
