Despite reports of Phil Collins’ declining health, fans were nonetheless surprised to find the singer performing from a chair Monday during the Detroit stop on Gensis’ “The Last Domino?” tour. Although the 70-year-old musician looked frail, his voice was as powerful as ever as he belted out the band’s biggest hits on what’s expected to be his final tour. Collins’ 20-year-old son, Nicholas, took over for his dad on drums for the entire show.

Collins is suffering from debilitating nerve damage that has affected his back and hands, making it uncomfortable for him to stand and impossible for him to play drums.

Can you name another musician who continued touring after he or she should have quit? (David Lee Roth!)
