If you’re looking to have a dream wedding, you might want to consider Jackson County, North Carolina. Better yet, they may even pay for your celebration of wedded bliss. Although, there is a catch.

You could win a dream wedding set at a scenic castle in Jackson Co. this fall, but you have be a frontline employee whose wedding plans altered by COVID-19.

The county’s tourism board is offering up the dream wedding, valued at $40,600 that will include a “fairytale” setting, catering, décor, entertainment and more at Castle Ladyhawke at Bear Lake Reserve on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021.

“Working together with the Jackson County Tourism Development Authority to help bring some of these wedding dreams back to life is the least we can do to show our love and support to those sacrificing so much. We know that love prevails, and this is our way of showing that,” said Craig Smith, President and General Manager of Bear Lake Reserve and Castle Ladyhawke.

The sweepstakes is open to anyone in the country at least 21 years or older and classified as a frontline worker with a COVID-19 hardship.

Castle Ladyhawke is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains near the border of Tennessee.

“We are proud to partner with Castle Ladyhawke on this amazing opportunity for such a deserving couple. I am so excited to hear the stories of those entering our contest,” Jackson County Tourism Director Nick Breedlove said.

Here’s how to enter the contest: create a one minute intro video of you and your fiance. Also, share you details of how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted your 2020 wedding plans. Please include your work description with how you’ve served the community.

To register for the contest, upload your video or provide the link where the video. The contest is open until April 30 and complete rules can be found here.
