After a 30 year run on daytime TV, “Maury” is being canceled. Since 1991, Maury Povich has been a staple of daytime television. New shows will continue to air into September. However, re-runs will run in syndication beyond that. The show is well know for its paternity test reveals, using DNA technology. Once called “The Maury Povich Show” the name was changed to “Maury.” NBCUniversal owns the rights to the show and ultimately made the decision to cancel the show. Other shows shows being cancelled recently include Nick Canon’s talk show and “The Good Dish.” Judge Jerry will also end it’s three year run on TV in September as well.
