In the wake of Taylor Hawkins’ tragic death, the Foo Fighters have decided to cancel their upcoming tour.

Here is the full text of the band’s statement released Tuesday:It is with great sadness that Foo Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins.  We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned.  Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together. With Love,Foo Fighters

Last week, the 50-year-old Hawkins was found dead in his hotel room in Bogota, Columbia, hours before the band’s scheduled show.

The Foos were set to begin a North American tour in late April.

Will Foo Fighters continue on as a band without Hawkins, or is it?
