Ivana Trump, first wife of Donald Trump and mother to three of his children, has died at the age of 73.
Authorities say Trump died at her Manhattan home Thursday afternoon. TMZ reports that she had gone into cardiac arrest. Ivana and Donald were married in 1977 and became a world-famous ‘power couple’ of the 1980’s. They divorced in 1992 following Mr. Trump’s much-publicized tabloid affair with Marla Maples.
The former President addressed Ivana’s death on his social media app Truth Social: “She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric.” Ivanka posted a heartwarming post on Instagram.
