A billion-dollar lottery prize remains unclaimed, nearly a month later. So far, no one has come forward to claim the $1.34 billion Mega Millions jackpot drawn on July 29th. The winning ticket was reportedly sold in Des Plaines, Illinois. There’s no rush – winners have a full year to claim their prize.  And big-money winners often wait a while to claim their prize, while they consult with legal or financial advisors. If the prize goes unclaimed, the money is returned to the participating state lotteries. If you won a billion dollars, would you claim it right away, or wait a bit to get everything in order?  What would you do with the money?
