Looking for a new job? Then it’s time to put the razor away. Research has shown that men with beards are more likely to land a job interview than their clean-shaven counterparts. Why? Beards make a man appear to have more experience, expertise, and maturity. One experiment found that Facebook ads featuring a photo of a sales representative got 2.6% more clicks when that rep was bearded. According to the New York Times, the beard trend began in 2005 and really seemed to gain momentum during the pandemic as many men worked from home. Why are people in love with beards?
