To promote the release of his new memoir, Bono, the frontman and primary lyricist of U2, is launching a book tour. The 62-year-old musician will release his autobiography, “Surrender: 40 Songs One Story,” on November 2. His new show, “Stories of Surrender,” will provide fans around the world an “evening of words, music, and some mischief.” It will follow Bono, whose real name is Paul David Hewso,n on his “unlikely journey” from tragedy in his Irish hometown as a boy to joining one of the biggest bands in the world. The singer of “With Or Without You” will launch his Live Nation-sponsored theater tour on November 2 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. He will then go to Boston, Toronto, and Chicago before making his way to the UK for shows in London, Glasgow, Manchester, and Dublin.
