Charlie Puth made a pit stop at The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon recently, and he was asked to tell the story of when he first saw Harry Styles. Puth says he was at a fancy sushi restaurant when he saw Styles and his manager walk in. It was 2014, and Puth was newly signed.
He was so overwhelmed by seeing Styles and says, “I got whole body chills.” Puth pulls out his phone and tweets, “you’re not gonna believe this. What a week in LA! I sign a record contract, and who walks in? None other than Harry Styles.'”
After five minutes, 15 paparazzi show up; Puth says Styles looked at him, nodded, and then followed him on Twitter. Puth says he’s unsure if “it was a good follow or not. I don’t think he likes me very much,” said Puth.
