Selena Gomez

There were a lot of big moments in “Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me.” One was when she said she didn’t just want to be seen as a Disney kid. While talking about Interscope head John Janick, she said, “I don’t want to disappoint John. I don’t want him to think he signed some f**king Disney kid.” Her friend Raquelle talked about Selena having a psychotic break. She said, “I just remember it being very chaotic, and she was hearing all of these voices. They kept getting louder and louder and louder.” She talked about the origin of “Lose You To Love Me” and writing it in only 45 minutes. She said, “It’s about more than just a lost love. It’s about me learning to choose myself, to choose life. And also hoping people can find grace and peace in that too.”
