The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame welcomed its 2022 class with an amazing ceremony filled with great performances. Dolly Parton, Eminem, Pat Benatar, Lionel Richie, Duran Duran, and more were inducted as part of the 2022 class during Saturday’s ceremony. Sherly Crow said about Pat Benatar, “Pat rocked as hard as any man but still maintained her identity as a woman.” Janet Jackson was also present during the ceremony and awarded Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis with the Musical Excellence Award.
Eminem said during his acceptance speech, “I’m not supposed to be here tonight. One, I’m a rapper; two, I almost died from an overdose; and three, I really had to fight my way through … I’m a high school dropout with a hip hop education.” Dolly said, “I still got rock and roll down in my country soul.”
