It’s the word game of 2022. You’ve seen it all over social media.
The New York Times is making some changes to its word-guessing sensation Wordle. This week, the paper announced that Wordle was getting its own dedicated editor, who will program the daily puzzle using a Times-curated word list. The basic gameplay will stay the same, with “editorial adjustments to ensure that the game stays focused on vocabulary that’s fun, accessible, lively and varied.”
