Jodi Jaeger, RRT, Director-At-Large, and American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) Board of Directors, shares ways to protect yourself from the “tridemic,” which is COVID-19, Influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus or RSV.

Jaeger’s first tip is to get the updated COVID-19 and Influenza vaccines. Both will minimize one’s chances of serious infection, hospitalization, and death.

Secondly, mask up and social distance, and last but certainly not least, be vigilant about hand washing.

“Wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizer after being in public spaces, bathrooms, and before eating,” Jaeger says.
