Ramona’s sneezy self-consciousness isn’t a new habit. She has been attempting to hide blowing her nose since her youth.
However, it is exacerbated by coronavirus symptoms that range from coughing to sneezing to nose-blowing. Though she maintains these are not symptoms from the virus’s latest strain.
The heightened awareness of other people’s coughing and sneezing makes this situation rife for other people’s judgement.
