Federal Agents Seize 69 Cats From ‘Tiger King’ Park Federal agents have seized 69 big cats from the Oklahoma animal park featured in the Netflix series Tiger King. Authorities say park owners Jeff and Lauren Lowe – who appear in the docuseries – abused and mistreated animals at the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, which was renamed ‘Tiger King Park’ last year.
The animals seized from the facility include 46 tigers, 7 lions, 1 jaguar, and 15 lion-tiger hybrids. Tiger King Park was awarded to Carole Baskin – another character from the Netflix series – last June, and was closed to the public in August. Why was America so obsessed with Tiger King last year? Is the story just sad now?
