We didn’t have a Summer Olympics in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic so we get a do-over! The Summer Olympics will be happening in Tokyo this summer with the Opening Ceremonies on July 23rd. Our American Olympians have been hard at work training and eagerly anticipating what they missed out on last year and yesterday was proof that they are a force to be reckoned with.
Growing up my favorite Summer Olympic event was hands down the gymnastics. Whether it was the ladies on the uneven parallel bars or the men on the rings…I loved every second of it! Why? Because of things like what Simone Biles did yesterday. She made history. Done by landing a Double Pike Vault.
