Legendary singer-songwriter David Crosby has died at the age of 81. His wife says Crosby died after a long illness, “lovingly surrounded by his wife and soulmate Jan and son Django.” Crosby’s musical career began in 1964 with The Byrds before leaving in 1967 and forming Crosby, Stills & Nash – which two years later became Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. He continued to record and perform throughout his career, last touring in 2019.   Crosby also wrote two memoirs and is a two-time inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, with the Byrds and CSNY.

What will Crosby be best remembered for?
