Dennis Quaid is set to star in Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming Paramount+ spinoff series “Bass Reeves.” He will be playing the role of Deputy U.S. Marshall Sherrill Lynn opposite series lead David Oyelowo. The series tells an inspiring story based on the real-life character of Bass Reeves, a legendary Black lawman. The series is set in the same time frame as Sheridan’s Yellowstone prequel “1883.” Bass Reeves is currently filming in Texas, but premiere dates haven’t been revealed.
