The jackpot for Monday night’s Powerball drawing has grown to $747 million — making it the fifth-largest jackpot in the game’s history, officials say. The new figure comes after no one matched all six numbers Saturday, marking the 33rd consecutive drawing without a big winner. The last time someone won the jackpot was November 19th, when a Kansas resident scored $92.9 million. The biggest payout in history occurred earlier that month, when someone in California won $2.04 billion, Powerball officials say.

If the winner of Monday’s jackpot opts to take it in one lump sum, he or she will bring home $403.1 million.
