Let’s be honest- part of the fun of watching the Big Game is all about the commercials. A big trend for this year’s ads includes partnerships, like the ones Netflix is doing with General Motors AND Michelob Ultra. There will be less going on as far as automobile ads, but a variety of alcohol commercials and the use of QR codes. Nostalgia will be a factor in ads with throwbacks to “Breaking Bad,” “Clueless,” and rock stars like Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Paul Stanley, and Dave Grohl.
