Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to an additional 16 years in prison for sex crimes committed in California. The former Hollywood mogul was sentenced Thursday in Los Angeles County court, after he was convicted last December on three counts of rape. Weinstein is already serving a 23-year prison term in New York for rape and sexual assault, in a case that helped spur the #MeToo movement. The new sentence will be served after the current one, all but assuring the 70-year-old Weinstein will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
