Darren Aronofsky’s movie, The Whale, has kicked butt and exceeded $30M at the global box office. It debuted at the Venice Film Festival in September and has since gone on to be released in theaters domestically and abroad. Brendan Fraser won a SAG Award for Male Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in the film. The movie exemplifies a low-budget indie film finding success at the global box office.
The Whale marks a comeback of sorts for the famed actor and has received countless accolades and industry nominations.
