Alex Murdaugh has been found guilty on all counts in the murders of his wife and son.

The jurors told the clerk of court they had a verdict at 6:41 p.m.

The verdict was read shortly after 7 p.m., after about three hours of deliberations.

Sentencing has been scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Friday. Murdaugh, 54, faces 30 years to life in prison without parole.

The disbarred South Carolina attorney was charged with the murders of his wife and son.

Murdaugh’s 52-year-old wife was shot four or five times with a rifle and their 22-year-old son was shot twice with a shotgun at the kennels near at their rural Colleton County home on June 7, 2021.

Matt Harris has been down in South Carolina reporting and will give you an update tomorrow on the Matt and Ramona show. Harris also has a podcast about the entire Murdaugh Murders called Impact of Influence.
