Fox has a new dating show called “Farmer Wants A Wife” and it features a Gastonia farmer as one of the eligible farming bachelors.
The new reality series has four men on the show that airs tonight on FOX Charlotte at 9pm.
Ranch-owner Ryan Black, 32, a native of Shelby, is one of the four contestants, joining men from Tennessee, Georgia and Oklahoma to engage with eight “city women” who are interested in rural romance.
Country singer Jennifer Nettles hosts the show. Interestingly, It’s a spinoff of a popular UK show that debuted in 2001.
On social media there’s some debate as to whether they’re actual “farmers” but “Contractor Wants A Wife” doesn’t exactly have the same ring to it.
