Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have received their wish to have their children be honored with royal titles, which King Charles has approved.

Their daughter was christened in a private ceremony recently and given the title of Princess Lilibet. Buckingham Palace also stated that its website has been updated with Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie’s titles and that the children have ties to the Royal throne.

When Harry and Meghan appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s television show two years ago, the topic of the children’s title dominated the conversation. Meghan, claimed that “they,” presumably the palace, ““were saying they didn’t want him to be a prince … which would be different from protocol.” when she was expecting Archie.

Archie was the “first person of color” in the royal family, and his birth would have been the first time a royal grandchild wasn’t given the same title as the other grandkids, according to Meghan.

Why do you think King Charles approved this honor for Harry and Meghan?
