Former Nickelodeon star Amanda Bynes has been placed on a psychiatric hold after she was found roaming the streets of Los Angeles naked and alone over the weekend. She reportedly waved down a car herself to have 911 called, where she was taken to a nearby police station, and mental health officials determined she needed to be placed on a “5150 psych hold.”
Bynes has had several issues in the past revolving around her mental health and substance abuse. She filed to end her conservatorship in February 2022 after nearly nine years.
She is currently hospitalized and will “likely continue to receive care for several days.”
