Publix Supermarkets has been ranked as America’s most trustworthy grocery store by Newsweek’s latest Statista poll, which surveyed 25,000 people across the country.

The poll asked customers to rate stores on various factors, such as price, selection, quality, service and atmosphere. Publix scored 90.1 out of 100, beating out other grocery chains like Winco Foods (89.9), Kroger (89.8), Harris Teeter (89.7) and H-E-B (89.6).

The poll also reveals that most Americans still prefer to shop for groceries in person rather than online. A survey by Statista found that only 2.2% of respondents shopped exclusively online for groceries in 2020, while 26.4% shopped mostly in store.

What’s your favorite grocery store? Do you still prefer shopping in person?
