We knew Pat McCrory couldn’t stay away from WBT for too long.

The Republican candidate for U.S. Senate returned to his old stomping grounds on Thursday to take over The Bo Thompson Morning Show. After being away from the Ty Boyd Studio for over two months, the Governor had a lot to get off his chest during his two-hour guest appearance.

Among the growing concerns in Charlotte and abroad has been the overwhelming labor shortage. McCrory gave his thoughts on why people aren’t taking jobs and provided suggestions on solving the ongoing problem. He also took time to remember the four people killed in a massacre on Beatties Ford Road nearly a year ago.

“A twenty-five thousand dollar reward isn’t enough,” McCrory said. “It needs to be 100-thousand. They have video of the incident with witnesses. People need to come forward.”

In typical McCrory fashion it was the fastest two hours in radio. Listen to Pat’s takeover of Bo’s show below.
