Lainey Wilson Becomes A Grand Ole Opry Member

Lainey Wilson fulfilled her childhood dream of joining the Grand Ole Opry family after years of hard work and dedication. Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks welcomed Wilson as the newest member during a special ceremony at the Opry House. “Honestly, it feels like the biggest night of my life,” an emotional Wilson said. “We have had a crazy couple of years and all the awards and everything but this right here feels like the highest honor for me. It feels like the stamp of approval from everybody that stood right here. That just lights another fire under my butt.” Yearwood and Brooks praised Wilson’s enthusiasm for country music and the Opry and gave her words of encouragement and suggestions for her future in the business. Wilson’s official induction into the Grand Ole Opry marks a significant milestone in her career and a moment she has been dreaming of since childhood.
