Netflix Announces Benedict Bridgerton As Lead For Season 4

Netflix has announced Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, as the lead for season 4. In a teaser, Netflix says,

“Benedict Bridgerton has been unmasked as next season’s newest suitor.

Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.”

The Julia Quinn book An Offer From a Gentleman, which focuses on Benedict, is a Cinderella story in which “Benedict falls in love with a low-born woman named Sophie” who has yet to be cast.
