Lady Gaga In ‘Shock’ At Poor Reaction To “Joker 2”

Lady Gaga is reportedly disappointed by the criticism her performance in Joker: Folie à Deux has received.  The pop singer, who played Harley Quinn in the sequel to “Joker,” has failed to attract audiences to theaters, with the film only collecting $40 million at the domestic box office.  Gaga is surprised by the response to the film and is shocked that people don’t love it after the positive critical reception before its premiere.  Her team is now looking at other projects to move on quickly from the disappointment of “Joker 2,” as Gaga had hoped the film would earn her an Oscar nomination. Stefani Germanotta, aka Gaga, hopes the “Joker 2” debacle will be a career blip after the picture scored a D CinemaScore, the lowest for a comic book movie.
